Comprehensive Eye Exam

We provide you with the most thorough, comprehensive eye examinations. Using advanced techniques and modern equipment, we will analyze and diagnose your vision quickly, accurately, and comfortably for you.

Regardless of your age, physical condition, or how well you see, it’s important to have regular eye exams. Some diseases develop slowly without causing pain and are generally symptomless. The only reliable way to confirm the health of your eyes is to have an examination. Earlier detection of a problem can prevent serious complications of vision health. An eye examination can detect health-threatening conditions such as tumors, injury to the retina, or vascular irregularities, among others. The best way to keep your vision safe is to have regular checkups.

Children should have an eye exam at age 4, at the start of school, and then every 2 years throughout school. For adults, an eye exam should be performed every 1 to 3 years depending on age, physical condition, and risk factors. If you have high blood pressure, diabetes, or other health disorders, it’s recommended that you have an eye exam more frequently. For people over 40 years of age, an eye exam should be performed every 2 years to check for age-related eye conditions such as cataracts, macular degeneration, and presbyopia, among others. People over 60 years of age should have an eye examination annually.

A comprehensive eye exam consists of a range of procedures and tests to evaluate the quality of your eye health. It includes not only determining your prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses, but also checking your eyes for common eye diseases and their early signs. Our pediatric eye exam for children can detect vision problems that could affect learning and developmental processes. We closely check the internal and external conditions of your vision. We test for cataracts, glaucoma, and the presence of corneal disorders, examine the retina, and diagnose for eye infections and various eye conditions such as dry eye, optical allergies, computer vision syndrome, and many more. Following our complete eye evaluations, we will share our findings with you and discuss the most suitable and effective treatment if needed.
